STANDARD RENTAL DECKS
Our standard rental decks are based on a 58” x 58” stressed skin deck panel and 96” clear under the beams. We most commonly use straight staircases because they use space more efficiently. Our stair halves are designed so they can be connected directly together to make a straight staircase or to a 90 degree or 180-degree landing.
The basic shapes illustrated all show straight stairs. T, L and z shapes can all be configured with standard components.
With the proprietary QUICset technology connecting beams to columns or beams to beams, the structure can be setup without everyone waiting while the structural hardware is installed and torqued. This can be done later by a single carpenter while the rest of the crew continues with the setup. The QUICsets automatically position the mating components.
The standard beam and column technology gives you to free span 20’. For example, a 20’ x 20′ deck surface has columns in the 4 corners only.
The connection drawings above also show the efficient wire management capabilities of DEXdeck. All wires are completely contained within the beam and column spaces. There are 2” holes in all beams and columns. The C channel core gives wire access options not possible with I beams. Clients find that the beam lightening cutouts give great access to wiring etc. run in the beam space.
Dibond beam covers easily attach to provide a flush look and additional graphic surfaces
The aluminum guardrail is mounted on aluminum curb. This is connected by quick-acting cams to the top off the beams. The sections of handrail slide together at the top without needing any mechanical fastener, saving setup time. The only places set screws are needed is on the corners.
The standard infill panel is ¼” DP9 acrylic (frosted both sides)
The standard rental color is white. We have 2 in-house powder coating lines so the rentals always have fresh paint.
We offer colors other than white.
Standard grey ribbed carpet on the underside of the deck panels provide a finished sound absorbing and fire-retardant ceiling. Light tracks can be screwed to the carpeted ceiling without marring the surface.

3D models
The 3D models are saved as 2013/2014/2015/2016 dwg files.
The QUICset detail has been simplified: it is not the actual geometry.
To keep the file size small and make it easy to resize beams, they have been represented as a rectangular section.
If you would like any of the files saved as an earlier version, or saved as dxf, Vectorworks, or other file format (there are 6 or 7), please contact us.
If you use a version other than 2016, please let us know when asking for a model in a different file format.
If you are creating a custom rental we can model it for you.
